Welcome!

I'm Lynsie, a Full Stack Developer passionate about UI/UX, leveraging React, NextJS, and modern web technologies to build scalable, user-friendly applications (but I can do backend, too). I love coding because it blends problem-solving and creativity, challenging me daily and feeding my need for innovation. Outside of my profession, I love to bowl and have been competing in leagues and tournaments for over two decades; I even had a bowling scholarship in college. I'm currently in a Wednesday night league to pursue my life long mission - bowl a 300! 🎳

Skills

The skills below showcase the software languages, frameworks, and technologies that I know and work with to develop applications. In addition to these, I'm an excellent communicator, have a strong attention to detail, and work well in teams.

Applications

Below are web applications I developed during my time at App Academy. While these projects are older and my skills have significantly improved, these still demonstrate my eye for frontend development and UI details, ability to implement CRUD functionality using REST APIs, and my skill to create full stack web applications individually and with a team.
Note: Please allow extra load time as these sites are hosted on Render's free plan. Apps have not been adapted for mobile use.

Yapp

Yapp is a full stack clone of Yelp. Yapp allows for a user to search for and review restaurants with full CRUD functionality. Yapp was developed using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, React, and Redux.

Trip It

Trip it is a MERN stack application; I developed this app with three other engineers, focusing on the frontend. Trip It allows for a user to organize trips with other users by creating trips and trip events with full CRUD functionality. Trip It uses MongoDB, Mongoose, Express, JavaScript, React and Redux.
