Welcome!

ABOUT ME: I'm Lynsie, a driven and personalable full stack software engineer with a love for creativity, problem-solving, and frontend development (but I can do backend, too). I have experience developing web applications using many languages and technologies like JavaScript, React, and Ruby on Rails, just to name a few. Before training to become a software engineer at App Academy, I worked as an intellectual property paralegal for four years, so I have many valuable technical and nontechnical skills that I bring to the workplace. WHAT I'M WORKING ON: I'm currently working on my full stack clone of Yelp, called Yapp, to implement new features like user photo uploads/storage utilizing AWS S3. Additionally, I practice DS&A to keep my problem solving skills strong, and I've been learning Typescript and Python because I enjoy learning new technologies. HOBBIES: I've been a bowler since I was nine years old, went to Prairie View A&M University on a bowling scholarship, and I still bowl today. On Thursday nights you can find me at my bowling league in pursuit of my life long mission - bowl a 300! LET'S CONNECT: Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn and GitHub! You can find my links located in the menu.
